The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame and Time Warner Cable will partner to air a series of videos chronicling the history of baseball in the Jamestown area.
The videos will be presented on Time Warner Cable’s local access channel 19 beginning Monday, Oct. 13, in the noon to 4:00 pm, time slot and will be repeated daily at the same time. A new set of videos will debut each Monday for 19 consecutive weeks.
The series features 84 dvds of interviews conducted by local sports historian Greg Peterson, a 2012 CSHOF inductee.
Topics covered are the 75-years of minor league baseball in Jamestown, major league baseball players who once played in Jamestown, local ball players who played professionally and the baseball history of Celoron Park.
