Danny Collins and Home will be shown at the Reg Lenna on Saturday, June 20, 2015 as part of the Movies @ The Reg film series.
Family movie, Home, and Al Pacino comedy, Danny Collins, to show at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts this weekend.
DreamWorks Animation’s Home shows as a Sensory Friendly screening on Saturday, June 20 at 2pm. It is sponsored by Kiwanis International of Jamestown and The Resource Center. It shows again on Sunday, June 21 at 2pm.
ABOUT HOME: When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human, and together they discover the true meaning of the word “home”. Home is rated PG and is 96 minutes long.
The Al Pacino-starring comedy Danny Collins shows Saturday, June 20 at 8pm and Wednesday, June 24 at 7pm.
ABOUT DANNY COLLINS: The movie follows aging 1970s rocker Danny Collins, who can’t give up his hard-living ways. But when his manager (Christopher Plummer) uncovers a 40 year-old undelivered letter written to him by John Lennon, he decides to change course and embarks on a heartfelt journey to rediscover his family, find true love and begin a second act. Danny Collins is Rated R and is 106 minutes long. All seats to Movies @ The Reg are $5.
Coming soon to The Reg are the the classics, Jaws (July 1) and Caddyshack (July 8), SpongeBob SquarePants: Sponge Out of Water (July 11 & 12), the Thomas Hardy adaptation, Far From The Madding Crowd (July 11 & 15) and Love & Mercy, which dramatizes two points in the life of The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson (July 18 & 22). Also scheduled are seven classic baseball movies which will show between August 15 and August 21 during the Jamestown Babe Ruth World Series.
Reg Lenna Center for The Arts is located at 116 E. 3rd St. in Jamestown, NY. The box office opens one hour prior to showtime. Convenient parking is located street side and in the parking ramp across from The Reg.
