On Tuesday morning, city police executed two search warrants at separate residences that resulted in the arrest of two individuals on drug charges.
While searching a home at 303 Crescent St., police found a large quantity of marijuana and drug packaging. As a result, they arrested 26-year-old Randalea Rivera. Another search at 823 Prendergast Avenue revealed a quantity of ecstasy pills, marijuana, drug packaging materials, and cash. One person at that address – 23-year-old Raheem Butts – was arrested.
Both Rivera and Butts were taken to the Jamestown City Jail for arraignment on related drug charges.
Meanwhile, an Ashville woman has been arrested for allegedly selling cocaine, following a two-month investigation. City police arrested 22-year-old Jessica Keeler on various drug-related charges. Police say additional charges will be filed against her at a later date.
