The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities is advising residents in West Ellicott, Celoron, and Lakewood that testing in the area could cause discolored water today.
A business in the West Ellicott shopping plaza will be performing fire flow testing at 9:00 a.m. The other businesses in the plaza and Southwestern Central School have been notified. The BPU said discolored water, if it occurs, should clear within 12 to 24 hours.
