JAMESTOWN – Residents who give the gift of life today will have the chance to win tickets to an upcoming Buffalo Bills game. The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the BPU Education Room, 92 Steele St., Jamestown.
The Red Cross will enter blood donor names in a drawing for tickets to a home Bills game in September. In addition, BPU employee volunteers will provide lunch for blood donors.
Donors must be at least 17 years old, in good health and will need a form of ID such as a blood donor card or driver’s license. Walk-ins are welcome. To arrange an advance appointment, call Becky Robbins, BPU Communications Coordinator, at 661-1666.
